Chao Shao Bao. We all like Cha Shao Bao


Ok I know it doesnt look very asthetic but I made this char siew bao from scratched! Marinated the pork. Followed up roasting of the pork into char siew and chopped into small pieces. Made and knead the dough and 'shaped' it.





So it looks bad...and it doesnt taste nothing like my mother-in-law. Her char siew baos had fluffy light skins and aromatic flavourful char siew when you break it open...makes me water now just thinking about it.


But nonetheless, I am proud. Hei is gonna attempt next.
